Hi Gary---pushing is done in the processing. If you want the camera
metering to account for the higher ASA (ISO) rating being used, you can
adjust the camera settings. But for most astro work, the metering system
is not applicable.

I haven't got any experience with film shots of Mars, but I bet someone
else can chime in with suggestions.
