Re: [APML] 18 august 2003 aurora
Nice Dominic!
I have often considered shooting aurora against a foreground of light
polluted clouds just for the colour contrasts. I have yet to do this, but
your photos have got me thinking of doing this sooner rather than later! The
contrast of green aurora with "orange" clouds is very striking - thanks for
posting!
But I still don't like aurora...... :-)

Hi all !
I posted 10 of my aurora pictures , that I took this morning , on my STD
gallery under the title " 18 august 2003 "
http://spacew.com/gallery/DominicCantin 25 more will follow later this week.
Stuart , I dont want to disapoint you but effectively , the show was better
after the Moon rise. I arrived at ~23:30pm ( east time ) and saw the aurora
until 3:30 am and they was there when I leaved after I shoot 4 rolls of 24
exposure on fuji superia 800.
George , what I mentioned to Stuart is good for you :)
I'll look forwards to all pictures that have been took from this aurora !
Clear skies !
