[APML] OT: Crescent Widefield Composite

Hi all,

Here's a new composite image of the Crescent Nebula

region. The background was taken with the FSQ106

using 3 hours of h-alpha data.

The processing steps are as follows:

1) A blend of the h-alpha and red data was made in PS

using the "lighten" mode to absorb the stars into the HA.

2) This blend was then used as the red channel for RGB.

3) The blend was then used again for luminance at 40%.

4) Finishing touches including minimum filter applied in PS.
