 Hey Al...

I procured a TMB 105/650 APO triplet earlier this year... I picked it up
from Markus Ludes at WSP. I shot some stuff that week, but haven't posted
them yet. Used it more visually than photographically so far... dang weather!

I'm very pleased with the performance of this scope... it's *totally*
color-free... Markus took a partial trade on the deal, and I got a nice APO
much sooner than I would otherwise. Markus was also completely honest about
photographic performance... for best results you need to use a field
flattener or focal reducer... the TeleVue units for this focal length are
perfect matches. I already had the FR!

I hope to re-shoot M-31 and other shots posted to my web-site with the
APO... the old Apogee Widestar had some color issues... the TMB doesn't. I
think Jon Kolb has a larger version of these scopes with a 4" focuser he uses
for medium format... check his site, he reported here not long ago the he's
very pleased with his as well.
