RE: [APML] Opinions on TV-85 vs. Tak 102-106
Alan,
The Petzval design is what causes the "hot spot". I have the Televue
NP101, which also has the Petzval design, it too has the "hot spot". AV
techniques will take care of this in PS. In retrospect I would get the
Tak, but I have never planned to do medium format, so the TV is fine for
me.
Kirk,
Outstanding Rho image.

It sounds like the 106 has several advantages over the 102. Although I
have heard reports too of the hot spot, I didn't know it was confined
to the 106. Anyone have more infor on this?
Thanks,
Alan
