[APML] Opinions on TV-85 vs. Tak 102-106

Hey all,

I'm considering swapping out my TV-85 for one of the Takahashis
mentioned, possibly the FSQ-106. Won't happen until AP season shuts
down a little in late fall-winter.

What I would like to hear is your comparisons (from an
astrophotographic point of view) between them. For now the scope rides
(or will ride) on a GM-8. Price, or the mount is not an issue here.
With the telepod mount, reducers, filters, etc... I can probably do a
pretty even exchange, and I would like to move up to a G-11. So we can
concentrate on OTAs.

Besides a little more aperture, what would I gain by moving to a Tak?
And seeing as I know so little about Tak scopes, maybe someone can
explain the differences between the 102 and the 106 FSQ. What do those
letters mean?
