Re: [APML] Why Canadians Dont like it

Hi John

How about driving 4.5 hours to get to dark skies to try shooting
widefield with a 28mm lens under what is normally incredible skies, only
to be hammered by a major aurora? Last september 5th this happened, I'll
dig around and post on my website a shot of the aurora in sagitarius
which was just above the treeline. A great aurora, but I would have
gotten better results from my front yard, the light mild pollution
provides just enough pre-flash for supra 400 when exposed for 20 seconds
at f/3.5. The dark sky shots came out thinner.
