Re: [APML] Experimenting with diffusion filters
Chris,
What brand / model diffuser filter did you pick up? I'm looking for
nearly the same feel of your shots for doing the winter constellations, and
I'm close to ordering one.

Astrophotography
This past new moon period, I decided to try imaging with a diffusion
filter.
After seeing Marco's great Southern Cross shot back in mid July, I wanted
to
see what I could get.
My two targets were Lyra and the M31 region. I used 105mm and 50mm Nikkors
stopped down to f/4 and Provia 400F pushed +1.
Lyra:

M31 Region:

My results are encouraging as the star colors are quite accentuated. I'm
looking forward to trying this again next DOM.
Comments welcome.
