Congrats on your dark nebulae and  your pictures with the diffusing filter !
The "Lyra" picture show the effect more than the "M31 region" picture. It's sure that Lyra is brighter than Adromeda's stars.
 
Do you have use the same filter than Marco ?
 
btw: here we had  more than 2 weeks overcast :( I hope to be able to shoot the Milkyway at zenith before it's too late !!!
