Hello,
Apparently some people on
the SBIG list, noteably Stan Moore, decided that the NGC 7331 image that I
posted was flawed ... it was "distorted" according to him ... this is one huge
reason why I left that list and reside here among my APML buddies ... some
people just can't enjoy a good image but instead feel threatened by it and have
to pick it apart. OK ... guess I'll have to spill the beans ... he got me. In
reality I was on the Spaceship Enterprise travelling at close to warp speed when
I took the image as we approached the edge of a black hole... I tried my best to
straighten out the image ... forgiver me Stan, I failed ... but here is the
original for you to analyze...
