Re: [APML] CCD on APML (was: NGC 7331)

Although I'm 95% lurker, I feel complelled to give my $.02 worth.  I second Stosh's feelings about my reasons for joining the APML.  I did it to learn how to do AP from intelligent and talented individuals who are willing, and eager to give advice and comments to help me learn more of this wonderful craft.  I can't say I totally disagree with  Jerry's analogy either.  There is something old-time romantic about photography.  Don't believe me?  Checked out a nice Ansel Adams book lately?  Awsome!
There is no doubt in my mind that one day I will try the CCD thing.  But right now it's film and that's what I'm on this list for.  I don't mind the occasional OT and I love looking at beautiful images, but this group is supposed to be about film.  When I delve into the CCD Age,  I'll add a CCD Imaging group to the APML group so I can learn from both.  Maybe that's what the people doing both on this list should do if they haven't already.  I don't think there should be a line drawn across the sand, let's just try to keep the APML at least 95% film.
