Not quite sure what your asking here, Warren.

Are you trying to realign the RGB channels to eliminate the color fringing caused by atmospheric dispersion, or are you trying to stack several film or CCD frames?

Registax is intended for .avi files, but can stack individual .bmp frames. Same for Astrostack. In each, individual frames must be the same size. But neither does RGB realignment. The next version of Registax will though.

I use either Photoshop or MaxIm DL to realign RGB channels. Picture Window also allows this.

What software do you have?
