Re: [APML] M27

Hello all,

It rained here the last two days ... that is nothing short of a miracle for the middle of the California summer ... I got some real sleep for a change ... sorry for the humor attempt ... don't know what to do with all this mental energy!  : - )

I have been wrestling with M27 for the last several weeks ... what a complex sucker that nebula is! It's interesting to go through the various colors and see how much is in this nebula ... take a look at the B&W first and then put your sunglasses on for the second one in color... I am going to reshoot the red to get better stars and more depth outside the main boundary of the nebula ... but this will do for now. You could teach an entire CCD course just using this object ... not sure if you all will like this ... but that's my version of it (so far) ...

         Have a good one,

              Tony

Wow, Tony,

That almost looks like one of those images that you are supposed to use 3-D glasses with <g>.  Seriously cool color.
