Just a few notes about the image which I forgot to mention.
The image took alot of work. I combined the HA and the red channel
along the lines of my article but it took some struggling to get both the
nebula and stars just right. A minimum filter was applied to the red channel
along with some "dust and scratches" to rid the image of the numerous red
stars which often result from using h-alpha data. I then layered on my older
image of the bubble (taken two years ago with the RC and at the time my
ST10E). The result is an image that looks like it was taken under dark skies
but was really acquired under bright, light polluted sky. Its amazing what
creative image processing can accomplish.
