[APML] RE: How do you N2 purge an OM-1?

Sorry for jumping in late on this topic, but I'm curious if anyone
has tried other methods of purging moisture from a camera that are
not so evasive. Frankly, I'm reluctant to modify my Pentax LX in
any way. So, I've been wondering about alternatives, like:

How about a sealed container (say, like an underwater camera
housing) that could be put around the camera body and then N2 is
piped into it. Could be as low-tech as a plastic bag taped around
the camera, or it could be custom-fitted.

Or perhaps descicant could be placed in the camera body that would
help absorb moisture.

Or maybe a chamber could be used in the field to flush out
moisture from film before loading.

Or, if you have interchangable viewfinders, gas could be
introduced there (hmmm, I might ponder that one a bit).

In the meantime, I plan to modify my T-rings and pipe N2 through
them; my SCT is always sealed, so most of the gas would flood the
camera body and film plane. Unfortunately, this won't work when
I'm shooting with a lens.
