Hi Bert,

We did go with Epson scanners when we couldn't get the UMAX ones. We got 3 
Perfection 1250 Photo Scanners. We didn't need high end scanners since most 
of the work is only for web pages and minimal resolution scans like that, 
so we just settled for the 1250. I really haven't had much time to play 
with them, but they had a bunch of adapters to be used with the 
transparency/film unit.
