Hmmmm. Oxygen purge? 100% oxygen??  I'm no emulsion chemist, but given the
fact that film emulsions use oxidation and reduction as the basis for the
whole process, I'd be concerned about flowing a lot more oxygen over film.
The dryness (if it really is dry) might help, but I would wonder about the
reactivity of oxygen and those silver grains. Others here undoubtedly know
more about it....
