RE: [APML] M31 Core RGB

Rob,
Excellent dynamic range and resolution. Beautiful. I am participating
in the online webcast of Astroimage from OCA. There was an excellent
presentation on color balance. I know this has been beat to death on
the SBIG group, but what made me bring it up is the presenter , Don
Goldman, had some impressive data on color filters and balance and
discussed how many galaxy cores are possibly too yellow. I am not sure
what filter set you used, but Don presented data that many are
undersampling Red with the SBIG filters and probably still not sampling
Blues enough. I need to review the program again as it was full of
great detail. He gave film a passing mention, but much of the
information was appropriate for film or CCD. I highly recommend that
others check out the Orange County Astronomers in a few weeks and the
presentation may be in an archived video format.
