Re: [APML] Orion rising from the northwoods

 Stan,

If you really want to know if/which satellites are
in your frame... go to <http://www.heavens-above.com/>
and follow the directions there. I'd like to suggest the
possibility that the object streaking across the entire
frame is an aircraft at high altitude. I can't quite
tell at web resolution, but there almost seems to be
the 'beads' or intermitten blip of a strobe... and the
reddish color of the streak might indicate airplane as
well... how does the streak look on the original?

The image was taken at the right time of day to
reveal satellites... with the sun angle shining overhead
but the terminator not yet reaching your location... and
the streak itself lies close enough to the west/east
orbital paths of many satellites... heavens above should
give you an accurate answer.

BTW... that's still a great image, trails and all!

 Best :O)
