Agreed.  The G-11 will, in my experience, actually carry a 50lb+ load
for astrophotography, and track quite well, but only if the instruments
are physically and photographically short.  If you're shooting wide
field stuff the way I like to, this mount will carry a whole lot of
cameras and scopes, but if they're long AND heavy, it's a different game
altogether, requiring a different mount.  Nevertheless, it's the best
mount available for it's cost and capacity that can be had by any
measure I'm aware of.
