Re: [APML] Film and Wal-mart!
Our Walmart is rather small...it's not even a "Super Walmart"...no groceries!
I did manage to find some Elite Chrome 200 and even 400 at our new Walgreens. I also had a chat with the photo shop there. They said they would work with me and process the prints with no adjustments to contrast and such.
I'm still unsure about the slide vs. film issue. I've been listening to the group...seeing what others have had good luck with.
So many intelligent people here...all of you have been so kind and helpful! It's a relief to know I'm not alone and more advanced people exist! I have to drive 3 hours to even meet up with another astronomer!! I need to move :)
Thanks,
Tim

I've bought Kodak Elite Chrome 200 right off the shelf at Wal-Mart.
In fact, I did so last week while at the Summer Star Party (because I
had somehow managed to leave all of my E200 at home...).
If you want prints, slide film can be an expensive way to go. If you
want slide and can scan them, I prefer it.
