Can you narrow this down a bit more ? How exactly is the box labeled ?
Since this is a Fuji film (I think) The label on the box is very similar
to other Fuji which is crappy. What would be the defining characteristic
that sets this box apart from all the others ?

I can look into this one ...

I know. I still have 12 rolls of the old version :^)

I haven't actually tried any Slide Film yet.

But the original problem still exists. There isn't any reasonable
substitute for the RG 100 ? Which is a good Astro Film for exposures of
~30-45 minutes. I have a Schmidt Camera and 400 speed film I don't need,
100 is better and can withstand some enlargment before the grain becomes
objectionable. Kodak in all their infinte wisdom no longer makes the
RG100. 400 Speed film exists, and I suppose 200 as well. But nothing in
the slower films. To be honest I don't trust Fuji because I have a
freezer full of film which *everyone* said was a great Astro film ......
Nah, Fuji had to go and fix it with their 4th layer technology which is
crap. This is a real pity really because I like film. But I suppose this
is the reason why everyone and their brother is going to CCD.

I can't believe that there isn't a better solution to this problem .....
then again maybe I just don't get it.

Regards....

Bill
