[APML] Need opinions for MAK

Hi all! I've been lurking for awhile now, soaking up the knowledge and
greatly enjoying the discussions of this group.
The reason I'm posting this is currently I'm on a wait list for a 4" apo
and the longer I wait the more I'm reconsidering my decision. I've
recently been researching the TEC-6, INTES MICRO MK67 and INTES MICRO
Alter M603 as better decisions cost v. performance. What I'm ultimately
looking for is a scope that view deliver good performance as a visual
telescope for DSO's, planets, etc. and are suitable for film
astrophotography (prime and afocal) but at a lower cost than a 4"apo.
I've read all the reviews I can find on the net now I need other
feedback, please. I'm hoping that some of you may own one or more of the
aforementioned scopes and will give their assessment as to performance
for viewing and astrophotography.

TIA and clear skies,
Charles Packard
