Thanks... it also occurs to me that
the light coming down the tube is not perfectly straight, either, but in the
shape of a cone... so as you get out towards the edge of the chip it is going to
get worse... boy these CCD's are just too darn sensitive... first cosmic rays,
then blooming, and now this...
