I think this could be large because there are no products with focal
lengths in the 100-200mm category which satisfy the color correction
requirements for CCD astro-imaging. It should also be fast preferable no
slower than f/3. The market would be everyone who wants to do widefield
CCD imaging (presuming they can deal with the bright stars or avoid
regions with bright stars). One question I have is, how difficult is
such a lens to design and make. Is it even reasonably possible? I know
the APO refractors are more challenging as the aperture grows i.e. they
have to be slower.
