Re: [APML] (OT) IC1396 CCD with Schmidt-like FOV



I was even thinking of the 300mm f/2.8 (Nikon).  Modern ones are about as 
good as they come, I believe, but still far short of AP refractor 
class.  If one of these could be produced with such quality I think that 
the market potential is very significant - probably most ST-10 owners would 
buy one.  Steve Mandel would do some nice business out of it too :-)
