Each hypering setup is different, small changes in the process (like 1ºC
temperature) may yield large changes in the result. You should test your
negatives for different hypering times and decide which is the optimum (see
http://www.astrocruise.com/densmeas.htm for a cheap method of density
mesurement). After a lot of tests and the unvaluable help of Jerry
Lodriguss, I found 5 hours was the optimum in my case for LE400 (Lumicon 300
kit + home-made 50ºC regulator). Anyway, I believe that an additional half
an hour should not "kill" the film.
