[APML] Again: Meteor Photography

With the upcoming perseid shower, I am thinking about the best way photographing it...

with the help of Ulrich Beinertīs "Meteor Capture Calculator" (based on a BASIC program written by
Roger W. Sinnott) I looked at the efficiency of some of my lenses:

format f.l. f/stop efficiency
35mm 50mm 1,8 60,5
35mm 35 2 66,1
35mm 20 2,8 48,6
6x7 55 3,5 54,2
6x7 105 2,4 124,8

it seems that I should use the Pentax 6x7 with the 105mm and the Nikons with the 50mm and the 35mm lenses.

Now for the films. I am looking for readily available high-sensitive, low grain color films with bad reciprocity-failure
characteristics.
In the 35mm a simple consumer ASA 800 film should do, but what about medium format?

with best regards

Philipp Salzgeber
