Bill.......don't any ideas, you've got your hands full with the Schmidt you 
have.
Talk about fast Newtonians having large secondary mirrors...................
To get the image plane of an f1.5 Schmidt outside the tube  would require a 
really large secondary, in fact ,so large that it would seem 
counterproductive.
