The reason I would love to see how he did it was the curved film plane.
CCD chips aren't (to the best of my knowlege) curved, at least those
that most of us could afford are not. So .... the mirror to get the
light cone out the side is easy ..... flattening it without introducing
abberations (sp?) and screwing up the FOV is the cute part.
