Re: [APML] Re: new films



Hi Stosh and List:
I'm with Stosh on the use of non-hypered films, at least initially, or until
Tony tells us some standardized procedure to follow. I'm set up right now
(9:50 PDT) and going to try out a couple of films (Konica Centuria 800
[strongly touted by Terence Dickinson as THE astro film in a recent article]
and Centuria 400). M31 is still down in the murk from where I'm situated so
I'm going to take a couple of shots of M8 while waiting for M31 to rise a
bit higher. Exposures?? I'll try 20 and 40 minutes on M8, 30 minutes and 60
minutes on M31 (if I last that long). Any other suggestions for tonight?
