I found this very helpful in setting the ST-4 parameters.
I know nothing about the electrical hookup to the Cave mount, so I'll leave that to others.

Hi everyone,
 Just a quick note and intro. I live near Victoria BC Canada, and have been an amateur astronomer for around 20 years. I do dabble in astrophotography, including some very lame attempts at aurora photography. I prefer film to digital, and have an ST-4 for autoguiding which I would appreciate some help in connecting to my Cave Astrola. But, for a now, I'll sit back and lurk and learn!
