I use the 12mm Meade eyepiece. I think it has 2 advantages over the 9mm.
The concentric circles are just annoying especially when guiding on a
faint star or comet. The double crosshair is better, and a single
crosshair would be even better.
The other advantage is the longer focal length. I prefer to have a lower
magnification when guiding on a comet. When guiding on a star I can add
a barlow to get more magnification.
