[APML] 9mm or 12mm guiding eyepiece

Dear list,

I need your opinion on the following matter.
I have an 8" f/5 F1000mm Newtonian telescope. I will order the Meade Reticle 
guiding eyepiece and I would like your advise which one is best for my 
setup. Either the 9mm with double crossline with two concentric circles or 
the 12mm with double crossline without the concentric circles. What are the 
concentric circles for?
