[APML] Table of emission lines
Hi List:
Given the interest in colors emitted, colors perceived, and all the
ramifications, I thought it might be useful to put up a table of spectral
lines on my website. No doubt there are similar ones elsewhere, but I
haven't run into them. You can find mine at
http://www.astronomy-images.com/EmissionLines-1.htm
Please let me know if you find any errors. Also, I believe there are a
couple of other bright lines that I don't have in bold face in the table.
Nitrogen, for example. Can someone let me know which of the N lines (or any
others) are of photographic interest? Conversely, I wasn't sure which of the
visible OIII lines are too dim to register so I bolded them all. Which ones
should go back to regular font?
Thanks,
Bert
