Hi Kent:
I haven't tried Losmandy Delrin-tipped screws in those grooves, but I don't
think there would be a problem. The grooves have  tapered sidewalls, but a
0.3 inch wide flat bottom (just measured 'em), so they will accept anything
in the 1/4 inch range with no difficulty. The screws supplied with the AP
rings are standard metal 1/4-20 with rounded over tips (no plastic) and I
think the Losmandys are 5/16, but the Delrin is smaller than 5/16, I think
(can't find my Losmandy rings at the moment). At worst you might have to
file a little taper on the Delrin.
