These lenses were produced in the former german democratic republic for
a camera brand called Pentacon. These cameras are medium format cameras
and they are selling over here in Germany on the used market for really
low prices (camera body around USD 100,-) I am not sure if it's the
same connection as for the Contax.
How did you adapt the Sonnar

Yes, I got one of these adapters connecting the medium format to T2 and
works great!
