I decided to write an email to NWS milwaukee sullivan
as we have been pretty close throughout the years when
i was storm chasing and here is what they said:
Hi Brian,
This push to restrict free weather information
happens every year. It is basically headed by the
President of AccuWeather. They basically want to
reduce the Weather Service to just a Watch and Warning
agency. I would not worry to much about it. I highly
doubt that the bill will make it anywhere.

these folks who are trying to pass this at
