Hello All,

I was wondering if 2X teleconverters for camera lens are okay for piggyback AP or if they introduce a lot of distortion?  Has anyone used these before?  I'd appreciate any info or examples anyone might have.

Thanks

Gary

Gary:
I have found that Nikon's teleconverter's are excellent and it is very difficult to tell the difference between the quality of an image done with the prime lens and the image done with the teleconverter.
I've used my 300mm f2.8 ED with the TC301 (2x) and TC14B (1.4x) with excellent results.
Nikon's teleconverters are made for specific focal length ranges and should be used as such.

My guess is that the newer Nikon and Canon converters will be be same.
