Scott,

Regardless of the situation I would *never* run dew heaters and the 
Mount or Autoguider from the same supply. In my opinion thats asking for 
trouble. The typical Dew Heater "cycles" and its current draw isn't 
constant aring a period of high current consumption intermittant guiding 
problems can occur. Feel free to try this of course .... But my 
philosophy is that a 1.5A supply for the Dew Equipment is cheap 
insurance. Some time spent with an O-Scope and different Power Supplies 
and loads would convince you that not all power supplies are created 
equal. Most of them, risky assumption I know, will crowbar and drop 
current capability when its threshold is met. This can create some 
serious guiding issues. I have enough guiding issues as it is :( Let 
alone the thought of wasting a clear night fooling with it.
