Thanks Alan I found that page on their site a few minutes ago and have
almost decided that the Kendrick controller and straps will get a power
source of their own.

Hey Scott,
Kendrick has the amp draw for each of their dewheaters listed on their site.
I used it when I was running calculations for the same thing you are. Most
of the smaller heaters have a pretty reasonable power draw (IIRC). Once you
get up to SCT size (8" and over, or thereabouts)though, the draw gets quite
large. Check it out for your particular heaters and see what you come up
with.
