Thanks for your very comprehensive reply. You have an excellent resource
page there researched with your usual thoroughness. You have several links
which I hadn't found.
Thanks also for the reference to the Fotodiox adapter. This seems to be
well made and at much lower cost than the Novoflex part, and with your
recommendation it must be the one to buy! :)
I see that Canon has introduced the new 350 Digital Rebel with 8Mb array
and fixes to most of the issues with the 300 model - it will be interesting
to see how this works out in terms of aberrations with Nikon lenses.
