Robert - that is an important upgrade. The hoops are more than I'm willing
to go through. I bought my D70 more for daytime and for those uses I'm
thrilled with the camera.
Another consideration I learned about is the red response of the camera
right out of the box. At a recent talk four of us gave to our local club,
one of the speakers showed the red response of the popular DSLRs and I was
surprised to see the D70 more sensitive in red than the unmodified Canon
cameras. The modified (by Hutech or by Canon in the 20Da) are amazing in red
response.
