RE: [APML] OT: Two Mosaics, a Galaxy, and a PN



The Virgo mosaic is breathtaking.  In the M97 pic, it looks like the bright star immediately above and to the left is illuminating part of the nebula (turning it into a partial emission?).  Any idea if that's what's happening?  It's a very cool effect, whether it be real or an optical illusion.
