RE: [APML] Rework of M31



Jason, looks like youve enhanced the dust lanes pretty good on this one, and
the outer extensions of the galaxy are brought into view well.  On the dark
side, like any really strecthed image there is a lot of dust and crud on the
negative becomming visible that should be touched out in PS.  The background
is for me way too blue, which may be why the overall image seems to
represent the emmission objects as less colorful than the rosy pink they
should be.  Tracking looks great, and the focus and composition are fine.

Reworked my M31 using the Multiple File Open technique
along with a slew of other processing tricks.

Meade 12/16" Schmidt Camera f2.2

Tech Pan...
5x10 minutes, 2x5 minutes, 1x2minutes

Fuji Superia 100...
2x15 minutes.
