Re: [APML] M8 Lagoon - Film...
Don;
Yes, it is only a single 60mins, unhypered, RG200Select neg. The film
has an expiration date of 08 2003 and was stored in the Fresh & Cool
crisper, not the freezer.
Thkx for the complement but I believe the 1995 AP 155 EDFS deserves
most of the credit.
This was the only image on the CD which I could salvage, just barely.
When they scanned the negs the got them out of sequence, 1/2 of one frame
and 1/2 of another on a single frame, the beginning of the roll was at the
end of the CD. Somehow something slipped and I was able to grab M8. The
left edge 'is' the left edge of the frame, the other neb to the East is in
another frame with M20. So you can see it has been cropped quite a
bit...joe :)
PS: Checking back it was >13mos without astrophotography, not the 18mos I
stated. I also need to recalibrate my monitor, in PS6 the sky is a netural
dark charcoal but in MSIE it has a blue ting.
