RE: [APML] Again! Gamma Cygni Re-reprocessed

Hi Geoff,

I was actually puzzled if inserting the color space profile or not. I
looked at your web page with the difference, and I have to say that on
my monitor, the image saved with srgb looks too much red and this is
what I tried to avoid because Stuart told me there was too much red. As
I can see from my monitor, my image looks less red, and the colours are
less intense (I can possibly put more saturation) but the histogram is
better balanced. Probably there must be a trade-off between colour
balance and saturation of nebulas.

I'd like to hear from someone else about embedding colour
profiles....what do you guys out there think about it?

Regards,
Nicola

Nicola, if your machine pulls from the cashe', you may see no
difference in the mouse-over... but I'd guess most other viewers will
see the remarkable difference that I see on my machine!

All this 'color management' stuff has become a concern for even the
casual snap-shooter... not just the pro color labs!

 Hope This Helps... :o)
