 You're welcome... :-)

If I may, I'd like to point something else out to you. I saved your Web-published image to my hard drive, and opened it in Picture Window Pro. There was no embedded color profile.

This is not a good thing. This means that either a browser or sometimes a server program will assign the individual pixel color values. It is best to use an advanced image editor (e.g. Photoshop, Picture Window etc.) to assign color space... for Web display, this should be sRGB.

The gamma-cyg image is much deeper, with better contrast and color saturation, than your Web file reveals. To dramatize this, I have published a private, APML only page, with a mouse-over to blink-compare the difference. Go to:

     http://home.att.net/~astropix/color_space_effects.html

Nicola, if your machine pulls from the cashe', you may see no difference in the mouse-over... but I'd guess most other viewers will see the remarkable difference that I see on my machine!

All this 'color management' stuff has become a concern for even the casual snap-shooter... not just the pro color labs!

 Hope This Helps... :o)
