Re: [APML] Mercury, Venus,Mars and Saturn wide-field (medium format 40mm)



Stuart,

Fifteen seconds is the limit at f/4 on the sky AFTER twilight in
New York City. Wait too long and Mercury is lost in the horizon muck.
To the south west from my location is Newark airport. And planes from
LaGuardia Airport flying south pass to the west of me. Any exposure over
five seconds WILL have aircraft in it, usually more than one.
