attached it would be heavier/possibly look bigger.

Sorry, I forgot to mention this. I asked over the weekend if the ST-4s
CCD head size had been reduced at some point. I was sure I remembered
my first one having a bigger, heavier head. SBIG states that the head
size has never changed. Either my memory is wrong, or SBIG is wrong and
it's a collosal cover-up. I think it's my memory. :-)
